Self Saucing Chocolate Pudding
A cold winters night is perfect for a Hot Chocolate pudding Mmmm.Pudding
- 1 cup SR flour
- 2 tbls cocoa
- 30g butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3/4 cup raw sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
Sauce
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1 and 3/4 cup hot water
Sift flour, cocoa together into a mixing bowl. Add raw sugar and mix well. Stir in milk, vanilla and melted butter. Combine and spread evenly into a greased ovenproof dish.
Now for the sauce, combine brown sugar and sifted cocoa, sprinkle over the top of the pudding. Gently pour hot water over the top of the pudding. Bake uncovered in a moderate oven (180 deg C) for 50 minutes or until cooked but saucy!
